catchin' up

whew. i'm heading into skip 90. out of the triple digits, finally. (yes, this is with filter) water heating for cup o' tea #3. rach kissed me sweetly and told me to take my time. she's probably just amazed that i actually managed almost a whole week away from lj and slash and all. i am too, really.

also, stacking up links to things to read. forgot about the secret santa fics from both fandoms. yay. good times ahead. and more tea.

yay! caught up. more or less. ohboyohboy now i get to read some fic!!! oh, how i have missed the fic. yesyes. but i am so tired. i think i will just read the rest of ivy's cure for the flu and then head to my warm and comfy bed. more slash can be consumed tomorrow, after the thorough cleaning of the house. i also have tales to tell of my travels. not very exciting tales, but... tales. yes. tomorrow.

oh. i just want to hug you all. you're so endearing in all your own little ways. missed ya.

what i've been up to, part 1

whoops. slept til 11. must break that habit pronto as it leads to unproductive days. perhaps should also reconsider the staying up til 3 part. now, for the titillating task of trying to recall the scintillating details of my week.

cruel irony

sleeping in my own bed was as wonderful as i had anticipated. the coffee i have dreamed of for the past week however... didn't happen. the coffee maker just decided to stop working this morning. done. that's it. no more coffee for us. i find this not very amusing. we ended up boiling water and pouring it through the filter a little at a time - as the coffee maker would do. it would seem to be the same thing that the coffee maker does, but it just didn't taste the same. grmph. and now we need a new coffee maker.

also, i had a delightfully allergy free week. usually, my parents' animals and rach's mom's moldy country home have me in sneezing fits. but i took allergy drugs non-stop and had no problems. until this morning. i suspect it is somehow linked to stopping the drugs. i can't stop with the sniffling. grmph again.

but i manage to be in a fine mood nonetheless. even in the face of much cleaning that must be done today. lalala. i am optimistic. the world is my unoyster.

rach is in the other room talking to my mother about our annoying landlord. ugh. i don't want to think about it anymore. really.

i feel like shit. have for most of the day - which explains the sad lack of cleaning that got done. and i have no large amount slash reading accomplished either. sad. also, all these comments and such to respond to. meh. can't make my brain work. ::smacks side of head:: ow.

is there such a thing as sinus removal surgery? cuz sign me up, man. i'll be first in line.

major accomplishment of the day was the purchase of a new coffee maker. mmm. thank goodness. oh... almost time to talk to hominidj - judging by the conversation-ending type talk coming from the other room...

and haha - camillafarfalla and i had fun on the phone comparing my current speech to draco's in ivyblossom's adorable, cure for the flu.
