what are you doing, people?

am convinced the world is out to get me.

i'm on task today. there is much to be done in preparation for the first thanksgiving hosted by rach and me. and so, what happens? ToS 6 happens. grr. and billthepony posts some frodo/sam. and i thought i was done with frodo/sam but two things make this an exception - rereading lotr right now, so feeling very much into the sweetness of them and the fact the it's billthepony we're talking about here. if i read any f/s, it'll be bill's.

yeah, but it won't be right now. too much to do. damn.

for those who are on the edge of their seats - rach survived the gre with good scores. not crazy high or anything, but good, solid work. yay!

we celebrated by dining out in chinatown and then eating cake and watching the movie of her choice. yet a further illustration that she and i have completely different taste in movies. mostly. we watched my first mister until it got too annoying and we turned it off. then we watched vice versa - an 80s relic in which judge rheinhold and his son fred savage switch bodies. mmm. quality stuff. ::yearns for all the lotr extras she still hasn't seen::
