is it silly to be bitter that everyone has more interesting dreams than i do? would you like an example? last night i dreamed that my old, hated roommate, emer, was asking me about trash. as in, what do i do to dispose of organic waste. i told her i put it in the trash with everything else. she was appalled. there's no point in composting, i say, we have no garden. she seemed convinced there was something better to do, and was certain we would have mice etc. because of the smell of decomposing matter. apparently, she lived here. minus the husband and daughter she has now in reality. yeah, so how's that for night time entertainment? ::sigh::

on a happier note, i get to see allan today!!! whee!!! i *heart* him. i just have to get some music from him, but there is a possibility that we will at least lunch together. i never see him anymore and it makes me sad in my heart. he's one of the bestest people i know. i wish his girlfriend would go away. she takes up too much of his time. when she wasn't living here, i saw much more of him. what? who's selfish? shut up.

guess i should go get dressed now. my morning was hijacked by rach mangling her bike. well, part of it - the gears... which are now part of the wheel unfortunately. yeah, i had to pick up her and the immobile bike, drive her to work and bring the bike back here. sad times. and i am yet unshowered. must rectify the situation.

i can't really imagine anyone in hp slash would not know this already, but just in case, i feel it is my duty to inform you that hackthis consistently puts out breathtaking drabble. content and pairings vary. the latest is a h/d series called 'contract' which is killing me with it's tortured sweetness. get thee hence and read.

it's just about time for my tea and tolkien break, i'd say. i'm done with the headless chicken act for the day, i hope. saw allan in all his wonderfulness. it's good to know people who are that great.

um... and now i'm wanting to read some harry/ron. not this very minute but, like, soon. does anyone have any recs for any that's decent? i realize that's a bit of a rarity, but i figured i'd ask...
