goals for the morning: rewrite e-mail to dad (on the laptop this time, to avoid casualties), clean up a bit, read harrimad_sol's hermione fic. ok, so that last one isn't such a difficult goal. not reading it, that would be rough.

oh. bad bad news yesterday with rach's old work. the union lost their appeal to the national labor relations board and the Evil Former Employer issued recalls to rach and her friend. so their bluff has been called. it's all coming to an end. the union will have to disband because the loss of the appeal means they lose their majority. i would be happy to tell anyone details about this if they're curious. what makes me curious is - how do these assholes look at themselves in the mirror every day? how? they're supposed to be on the good side. and they're evil. evilevilevil. if i saw one of them, i think i would spit on them.
