i'm nobody blah blah blah

the meeting of slashers turned out to be a small and happy event. fuschia hosted and cimorene111, harrimad_sol, camillafarfalla and i attended. no starsky/hutch shippers. that was mildly disappointing, as i was rather curious. but not really that disappointing, since it was more fun to talk about lotr and hp anyway.

yes, so we chatted, watched some songvids - ehahaha - played with the adorable tail-wagging cat spooky, watched fight club, chatted and departed. a nice time, i would say, and very sweet of fuschia to host and feed us. the only person there i didn't already know was cimorene111. so strange to meet someone you've been sharing thoughts with for a while... to have a person be there, about whom you can recall various random information and assorted opinions etc. but with whom you have never been in the same room before... ah, well... i don't think i'm telling you all anything new. point is, it was good times. i hope we do it again sometime.

so, today, church! topic for today: i'm nobody, who are you?; the folly of fame. with special appearances by emily dickinson poetry. and music sung by a select group of women from the choir, who i sincerely wish were the whole choir, they're so fucking good.

and then anti-war-with-iraq!rally. supposed be to a big showing. hope so. then, i think i will sleep for a day or two. am v. tired. arrived home last night a little before 2. it's a damn good thing i stopped in noho for coffee. yes.
