trying to get back to the supergirl attitude i had going on yesterday. kind of mucked it up by reading the rest of the s/x fic this morning. but ::sigh:: it's done. happy-ish ending for me. i'm good. but it took all morning. i'm an obsessive reader, yes, but not a particularly fast one.
so, maybe i'll just think about the wonder that was yesterday's interview to get myself back into hyper-confident and productive mode. did i mention she handed me the key to the school when i left? and that she told me she'd had a feeling i was the one for the job... bc my friends amy and jon had mentioned me and she was actually holding off calling other applicants til she could talk to me? and then she hired me on the spot? damn that felt good. if only the money were enough to even cover a week's groceries. not so much. so, now's time to start collecting some more little jobs. build something resembling a living wage. there's a chorus looking for paid singers... i'll give them a call. and... yeah, troll around and see what other scraps i can find.
take just as good care of little things as large ones. the young lady who will leave a spoon out of place or drop a dipper where she may chance to use it can hardly expect to have great things committed to her.
