yesterday after viewing johnny depp pirate pics and contemplating underprivileged goth children, i decided to apply heavy black eyeliner. i wasn't so much going for a goth thing as a cate blanchett thing - lots of liner and mascara and some light, shiny lip gloss. of course, i will never look even remotely like cate blanchett... for many reasons, one of them being my big mop of curly brown hair. however, i was rather pleased with the effect. went to work that way. no one said hey, you look freaky, so maybe i'll do it again today. yeah, not goth, but it did make me feel a little badass.

oh shit. there was a second part to this post and now i've completely forgotten. don't you hate that? hm. maybe i'll just edit if i remember.
