Yikes. Sorry to hear about this. I hate mix-ups of this type, too, and it's either reassuring or upsetting that ministers are like this, as well.
Then again, I grew up Catholic, and viewed priests with a sense of removed awe. (Which is, at any rate, long gone, even before the recent bout of abuses come to light.)
