hear, hear. disappointed. i mean, yes, i love character death and all, but um. the pointlessness. the wesley/fred thing, i mean, when was it that we were supposed to see him snap enough to lose his will to live? i love ilyria though. can't help it. and i love the wesley/fred and wesley/ilyria stuff in this ep, except that A. w/f love should have been so much more well established and B. wesley shouldn't have died.

and as for lindsey. am i confused? am i living in an alternate world in which lindsey's redemption didn't already happen a couple seasons ago? did i miss something? and since when does angel kill humans willy-nilly, just because they have the potential for evil? on top of all that, i just don't understand at all how it was necessary for him to die, or why angel even thought he was that big a player? where was the setup for that? was it that teeny conversation in the boardroom? dumbness.

however, yes, loooved the connor stuff. even having seen the badness. i loved it completely and utterly. so that was a plus.

and as i was just reading in this article (http://www.thestar.com/NASApp/cs/ContentServer?pagename=thestar/Layout/Article_Type1&call_pageid=971358637177&c=Article&cid=1085049205610) today, joss loves the fanfic, so maybe he's just doing us all a favor by leaving it openended. but yeah. stupid shanshu. stupid poop.

oh well. time heals all angst.
