(no subject)

hm. in response to my statement of disappointment in a swiftly tilting planet, someone i don't know told me i should read it again because i 'seem to have missed a lot.' you know... i really don't think so. i think i got it. and i certainly don't think the book would hold up to yet another reading. ::shudder::

oh nooooooo!!! i just checked the mail, thinking maybe my e-real mail gift certificate would be there and i can order my susan cooper books already. and it was there... but in a special 'oops we mangled this' envelope from the post office. the part of the certificate that has the number on it has been torn away. :( crap. damnit. grr.

ok. i will not be mopey about this. i want to have a good day. there is more furniture to stain. i want to rearrange the study with my new tabledesk in it. i want to snuggle my girl all the live long day. i just don't get to see her enough during the week.

oh, and last night was good times with camillafarfalla. we made a royal mess of the kitchen but it was worth it. good sushi, good cake (if i do say so myself) good company. fun times. despite the fact that i fell asleep on the couch at 11. heh. oops. but i hope we gave camilla a happy birthday. <3s.

ooo. i did get the latest martha stewart in the mail at least... what crafty projects does she have in store for me?
